Save the date: #GiveBigPittsburgh is one month away! None of us were really ready for what happened to our world on March 13, 2020. Since then, our day-to-day at PMT looks very different. Although we might not have been ready then, this time has given us the gift of envisioning our future. We are ready to respond, for as long as we have to, and to move forward, together. One month from today. PMT will be participating in Pittsburgh's GiveBig celebration on Giving Tuesday, December 1st. We are ready! This is one of our favorite days of the year, and we are always so appreciative and inspired by the support of our PMT Forever Friends. Please mark your calendar and consider a gift to support PMT this year on December 1st. Hope to "see" you there! #GivingTuesday #GiveBig2020

Ready for HELPING, together. As a building owner, PMT is fortunate to have full control of our classroom, theater and studio space. We’re committed to helping other theater producers and artists by sharing our space. Ready for FRIENDSHIP, together. Forever Friends are at the heart of PMT. Bringing our students back to the PMT studios safely has been a top priority. The opportunity to engage together, in person, gives our students a critical outlet, especially when so much is taking place online. Despite wearing masks and social distancing, our students love being together at PMT. Ready for #GiveBigPittsburgh. Tuesday, December 1st pittsburghmusicals.com/givebig
Ready for ADAPTING, together. We created an entire COVID safety protocol to ensure that PMT is a safe and healthy environment and that we’re accommodating all of our students and families. As circumstances change, we’re flexible and prepared to offer masked, socially-distant classes in person, or to engage students from their homes with our “Zoom to Room” option. These creative changes and adaptations allow students like Ariel to continue growing in their training and engaging with PMT instructors and classmates through this period of uncertainty. Ready for #GiveBigPittsburgh. Tuesday, December 1st pittsburghmusicals.com/givebig
Ready for EVOLVING, together. Our students have always been the heart of Pittsburgh Musical Theater. PMT students like Lillian are new challenges and seeing them as opportunities to learn and grow. Classes may look different, and our theater may be temporarily quieter, but our heart - our Conservatory - is beating louder and stronger than ever. Ready for #GiveBigPittsburgh. Tuesday, December 1st pittsburghmusicals.com/givebig
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Pittsburgh Musical Theater!
Ready for LEARNING, together. PMT's conservatory now offers a Technical Theater curriculum, one of the only education programs of its kind in our region. PMT Associate Technical Director Kevin Kocher developed the program to engage students in the “behind the scenes” art of making theater happen, while developing STEAM skills that blend science and math with creativity and communication. Despite COVID, PMT continues to innovate and grow in response to our students’ interests. Ready for #GiveBigPittsburgh. Tuesday, December 1st pittsburghmusicals.com/givebig
The results are in! We are so grateful and cannot thank you enough for your ongoing support. All contributions made will support PMT’s efforts to continue to serve students through safe in-person and virtual learning, financial aid, creative performance opportunities, and new programs. Beyond that, your support will directly benefit our artists and community through creative employment, free and low-cost performances, and resource sharing, as our industry and our world works to find a way forward and support each other in the meantime. #GiveBigPittsburgh #GivingTuesday #ReadyforGratitude

Over our 20-year history with Bridgeway Capital, PMT has had their full support, allowing us to continue our mission and thrive. When the pandemic hit, their assistance to PMT and many other nonprofits proved to be more vital than ever in keeping our futures alive.
