Happy Birthday to our fearless leader, Tony Beeson.
Appreciate County Commissioner Karen Keith for visiting our project today. No doubt this project will be historical and very important to Tulsa and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of history.

Touring OKPOP construction site today. The views are extraordinary of downtown.
No big deal, we keep at least two of these in our stock 😆. Our industry is indeed unique.

Our OKPOP project is moving along. Our team worked on setting equipment on the third floor. Busy day indeed. Thanks guys. Great job!
2020 may be a challenging year but one unique thing Tulsa is seeing in 2020 that it has never seen before is up to four tower cranes in the downtown area at one time. Our team is proud to be part of two of these projects that use 3 of the 4 tower cranes; WPX with Flintco and OKPOP with Nabholz Corporation
We are excited for the new edition to our facility. Made with weld pipe, topped with a Plumbing Hammer Arrestor painted gold to highlight just some of the things we do.

Our team member, Danny Hancock, was guest speaker today at Rotary Club Of Sand Springs talking about who we are and what we do with a highlight on our OK POP project. This project is being constructed using BIM (Building Information Modeling) programs which allows all of the MEP, walls, fixtures and equipment be placed within the structure model to be coordinated on where services will fit ahead of the construction itself. This should save time and money on the installation.
Thanks for the plug to our industry Rock!

If you know, you know.
Every morning I walk on our massive sound stage, greeting our crew and getting ready for work.
This shirt caught my eye, so I walked over and said, “Not many people know the real meaning of these words” as I pointed to his shirt.
He nodded and said, “No sir, but we do”
I gave him a 👊🏾 and said “That guy was one of my heroes - you’re a good man”.
This is Ryan Adam George, and he’s a hard working PA with a great personality - representing our awesome PA department.
If you strive to be the hardest worker in the room and a good human being, then we’re all the American dream and the son (or daughter) of a plumber
Great shirt, Ryan!!
Let’s get back to work.

It's cold and windy in Tulsa today but we wanted to share a progress pic of the building one year after groundbreaking and say "thanks" to Nabholz Corporation, Lilly Architects, Overland Partners, Wallace Engineering, Haley Sharpe Design, and all of the subcontractors who have worked so hard on OKPOP!
Thank you to our team members for your donation for this gathering.

Thank you Danny Hancock and Platinum Mechanical! Danny's in the Rotary Club Of Sand Springs and he heard at the lunch rotary meeting that the agency was low on green beans and corn! Danny made a mental note, brought the need back to the team at Platinum Mechanical, they did a food drive and netted 209 lbs. of green beans, corn, toilet paper and paper towels valued at over $350! They even delivered it to the agency today in the cold rain! Thank you for the thoughtful donation, and for caring about the most vulnerable!
Small project but just as important as the rest, our Stillwater Medical Center East Entry project and is coming along thanks to our project team. #PlatinumQuality
Our WPX project with Flintco Construction is coming along. Underground work is wrapping up and our QC team has been doing layout with our Total Station. Technology at its best!

Toured the Client Service Center construction today with board member, Mark Griffin. The building is coming along nicely and we can’t wait to be in the building. Appreciate Flintco Construction and all of the Subcontractors and Suppliers for their continued hard work and diligence on this project.

We love a good historic construction photo...and these recent donations hit the spot!
Photos show construction of the south end of the Tulsa Central High School building, taken March 5th, 1921. The original portion of this building, located at 212 East 6th St, opened for use in 1917. The contractor's bid for the addition shown in this photograph totaled $284,250. The total cost of the addition with all equipment approximated $750,000. The expansion extended the school over an entire city block and increased student capacity by approximately 3,000. The addition contained a new school auditorium capable of seating 2,800.

We had a great turnout Friday for the AGC Tulsa Blood Drive. We had
33 people signed up and collected 23 donations of blood and 3 convalescent plasma units. These donations will go on to help up to 69 patients in area hospitals.
Here is a picture of a little patient named Ronnie. He receives blood at St Francis about every 9 weeks to treat pyruvate kinase deficiency. (red blood cells break down faster than they should.) He and his parents rely on the generosity of OBI donors for his transfusions. So if you donated Friday or any other recent time, you helped patients like Ronnie! 😇
Due to the extreme weather conditions, we are calling off all of our projects (inside or outside jobs) tomorrow (Monday) to avoid crews from having to travel so they can remain home and safe. Please contact your project leader Monday to determine Tuesdays plan. Stay Safe everyone!
Today we officially start our 10th Year serving Green Country area. Thank you to all that make this possible and making Platinum Mechanical the premier Mechanical Contractor.
