Another excellent care review for our team! Recently our Interim Med/Surg manager Kristen Hasely received a call from an out of town patient on the excellent care she received: The wife had called to compliment the whole team, but especially Dr. Palmer. They were so pleased with the above and beyond care that she did for them in searching with their hometown pharmacy to help lower the price of a medication. As well as called him a few days after discharge to ensure that everything was still okay.

This is a difficult decision to provide the safest environment for our patients and staff. Exceptions are reviewed in end-of-life and critical care conditions. Happy Thanksgiving from Platte County Memorial Hospital! Stay safe Platte County, with small gatherings, safe-distancing, appropriate masking, and frequent hand-washing. We are stronger together and can keep each other safe!

Keep your family safe by continuing to practice social distancing! Be thankful for your loved ones…from a distance. Remember, it’s not bad – it’s just different!
