Today we say farewell to one of our fearless leaders, Doug Parks. Doug is retiring from PVE.
He plans to start some new adventures, but mostly spend more time with his wife and boys.
Doug started at PVE in the fall of 1993. He started just like anyone else who works here. At the bottom. He worked his way into ownership.
We all wish Doug the very best. We expect that some days, out of habit, he might show up at the shop. Then we might have to kick him out. 😂
Platte Valley Electric wouldn’t be what it is without you Doug. Thank you for 27 years.
We will be closed today to allow our crew to have some extra time with their families.

This is a labor-intensive job, heavy lifting, crawl space and attic work is involved daily.
No experience required.
Must be a self-starter, show up on time and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a Federal background check as well as a clean driving record.
Must be open to working out of town.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional over time. (There may be times that you need to come in early and get off late depending on the jobs.)
