June 26, 2020 To our valued clients, We have established some guidelines for our reopening of the clinic on Monday, June 29, 2020. They are as follows: 1. All clients must be wearing a mask or other appropriate facial covering. 2. Only one person per pet will be allowed inside during the appointment. a. Please call when you arrive – a technician will come outside to get you and place you in an exam room as soon as one is ready. b. Please practice social distancing in the exam rooms. c. Please do not leave the exam room until your appointment is finished – this allows us to practice appropriate social distancing. d. When you are ready to check out, the technician will bring you your invoice and take your payment to the receptionists. This will allow us to keep the lobby clear and again practice social distancing. 3. Appointments may take a little longer than normal – we appreciate your patience. We will be disinfecting the exam rooms after each appointment. We appreciate your cooperation. We understand this is difficult and at times can be frustrating. We all need to do our best to keep each other safe and follow the guidelines outlined by the AVMA, CDC, and CVMA. This is all new to us as well. It will be a learning process. We hope to have everything streamlined soon. Thank you! The Staff and Doctors at Plum Creek Veterinary Services
6/22/20 To our Valued Clients, Thank you for being so patient and understanding while we have been doing curbside service. It has definitely been a struggle for all of us. We miss seeing you and your pets. We are excited to announce that we will (hopefully) be able to open the clinic to clients once again on June 29, 2020. There will still be restrictions in place such as fewer clients allowed in the clinic at a time to allow for proper social distancing. We will require you to wear a mask (or appropriate facial covering) to help protect us and our staff. We will also be wearing masks. During this transition, please continue to show kindness and courtesy to our staff. This has been an incredibly stressful time for you and our staff. Our staff has shown amazing resiliency, great team work, and adaptability in helping us to stay open so that we could continue to help your pets. Please know that we are doing the best we can while operating under restrictions and guidelines mandated by the CDC, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association. We have worked hard to see as many patients as we can during the day at times with a limited number of staff. This has resulted in longer than expected scheduling times and we appreciate your understanding that we might not be able to fit in pets as quickly as we normally would be able to, nor fill medications in the normal timely fashion, and sometimes appointment times take longer. We appreciate your patience at these times. Again, please continue to show kindness and courtesy to our staff. Without our dedicated team of doctors and staff, we could not continue to remain open. We appreciate you as clients and enjoy seeing you and your pets. Please be advised that we will not tolerate any abusive behavior verbal or otherwise towards our staff or doctors. We greatly value our staff and hope that you do the same. We look forward to seeing you all again (and meeting some of you face to face for the first time)! Thank you, The staff and Doctors of Plum Creek Veterinary Services
