Albert Nejat, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist and the leader of the team at the Podiatry Institute of Southern California in Culver City, California. Dr. Nejat is drawn to podiatry because it gives him the opportunity to make people feel dramatically better in just a single visit, and because of a passion for educating patients on their health. As a native of Los Angeles, Dr. Nejat is proud to offer his services to the community he calls home.
Dr. Nejat pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine before receiving his degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then continued his education through a residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center and a podiatric surgery residency at the Interfaith Medical Center, both in Brooklyn, New York. After opening up his own practice in New York and practicing there for several years, Dr. Nejat returned to his childhood home of Los Angeles in 2002 and has practiced here ever since.
As a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Nejat is kept up to date on the most recent developments concerning techniques and technology in podiatry.
