As we continue to monitor and do our part to contain COVID-19, we have decided to close our office on Fridays. We have been working to reschedule our Friday patients and will continue our regular office hours Monday through Thursday. As always, we are available via our after-hours line on Fridays. Also wanted to update you all on the new guidelines for visitation at Navicent. Beginning tomorrow, only ONE support person will be allowed to accompany patients in labor and delivery as well as postpartum. No other visitors will be allowed throughout the hospital stay and no visitors under 18 will be allowed. Again, we thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time in healthcare. We understand how disappointing these new guidelines can be, but the sooner we can contain and stop the spread of the virus, the sooner we can get back to normal.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation daily and at this time we are limiting our waiting and exam rooms to patients only. Any visitors accompanying patients to visits will need to wait in their vehicles unless a patient’s condition warrants the need for physical assistance. We are asking that patients make arrangements for childcare if at all possible and if this is not possible we will ask that you wait in your vehicle after check in and a staff member will call you when an exam room is available. Please keep in mind this is all uncharted territory in the healthcare industry and we are taking every precaution in order to maintain the safety and health of our clients. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all navigate these uncertain waters in the days to come. We will update as we receive any new information. We plan to have a Facebook live session this Friday to try and answer any pregnancy related questions you many have related to the coronavirus. We are all in this together.

MOM is monitoring the coronavirus situation closely and we are receiving daily updates from the CDC and ACOG in order to provide our patients with the most up to date information. In the interest of safety for our patients and staff, we ask that if you are sick with flu/cold symptoms to please consider rescheduling your appointment. We are unable to test for coronavirus here at our office and if you feel you need to be tested, please go to the health department or ER. We also ask that you make arrangements to leave children at home who have exhibited any signs of cold/flu. Thank you and we will continue to update if any new information becomes available.
