Dear Patients:
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
• Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you are at the office and your temperature will be taken.
• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. For this reason, we ask that you not wear gloves into the office.
• You may see that our waiting room will no longer be accessible for the time being and we’ll ask that you stay in your vehicle until we come out to greet you or until we call you in.
• We also ask you to not bring family members to the appointment except one parent, if a child, if needed.
• Appointments will be managed in attempt for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment until we are caught up.
• We will do our best to allow time between patients to reduce waiting times for you.
• We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 402-991-7980 or visit our website at markfrilldds.com.
Please be patient with us as it will take most of this year to catch everyone back up on routine care. This may mean a missed cleaning recently and being rescheduled to this fall.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
Sincerely,
Dr. Frill, Dr. Melcher & Staff

Dear Patients:
We here at Portal Ridge Dental hope you and your family are in good health. These past months have been tough for all of us, we realize some more than others. Our community and our families have been through a lot. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your comfort and safety in our office.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We have always maintained clean office procedures and in the wake of COVID-19 are doing even more than usual to keep our common surfaces clean. Please note that we may run a little long during the day at times, in an effort to keep things as clean as possible, you may have seen this during your visits to our office already. We are going to update our entrance procedures to help avoid delays as much as possible and want to get this information out to you.
The updates are still following the same processes as these past months but now will happen at reception OR within your specific procedure room. Our office may communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions prior to entrance. Many of you have gone through this COVID questioning multiple times a week and are familiar as to what is expected of each of us if we have had an exposure or positive test within the last 2 weeks of your visit. You will be asked those same questions again when you are at the office and your temperature will be taken. If you have any concern please don’t hesitate to call before your appointment.
• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. For this reason, we ask that you not wear gloves into the office.
• Our reception room WILL be accessible now as we have the chairs spaced out nicely for social distancing.
• We also ask you to NOT bring family members to the appointment who will not be seen, except a parent, if a child is being seen or can’t drive themselves.
• We will do our best to allow time between patients to reduce waiting times for you.
• We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 402-991-7980 or visit our website at markfrilldds.com.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to continuing to assist you in your oral health care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Frill, Dr. Melcher & Staff
