Along with treating patients in her practice, Dr. Hansen is medical director for a team of Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and Certified Technicians that offer, non-invasive body contouring, Co2 Facial Resurfacing, IPL Laser Treatments, Botox and Facial Fillers. Dr. Kristina Disbrow Hansen has been a board certified family physician since 1997 and a registered dietitian nutritionist since 1990. She did her medical internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center and received her nutrition degree and training from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to practicing medicine, she has lectured to physicians across the country on menopause, osteoporosis, nutrition, obesity, depression, anxiety, child and adolescent obesity and tobacco addiction & cessation. Dr. Disbrow Hansen has added training in Child and Adolescent Weight Management and has been a director for the Obesity Prevention Foundation. She serves as a Medical Advisor for Make A Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada and is Chair of the Make A Wish Northern Nevada Regional Council. She loves being a mom and spending time with her boys, Eric and Will. Traveling is her passion and she enjoys hiking, snow skiing, camping, and scuba diving.
