Meet Our Silver Star Resident of the Month, Susan!
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
What kind of activities did you participate in as a child?: I enjoyed riding my bike, playing the guitar, and I loved interacting with people.
How about your teenage years?: Hanging out with my boyfriend. Doing teenager stuff. I also worked quite a bit. I was employed at the Federal Reserve and I did routing for a laundry company.
Speaking of, what was the first job you had?: I worked as a router at Society Living. I also babysat the children who lived in my neighborhood, you know what they say, “It takes a village to raise a child.”
Where did you retire from?: I retired from working in various departments in Olympia Fields Hospital.
What were your proudest moments in life?; The birth of my two children Traci & Anthony.
How do you enjoy spending your free time?: I love putting together jigsaw puzzles! I enjoy crafting and I LOVE music!
