Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia).
Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain normally decreases, but it might return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting.
If you’re experiencing these symptoms, give us a call at 937-339-4330 and let us help you get relief from your heel pain!
We will be closed on Tuesday 2/16/2021 due to inclement weather. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we will be back open again on 2/17/2021 to take care of your foot and ankle needs! Stay safe everyone.

Once an ulcer or other area of concern is noticed, seek podiatric medical care immediately. Foot ulcers in patients with diabetes should be treated promptly to reduce the risk of infection and amputation, and improve function and quality of life.
