Due to disruption from Hurricane Sally Premier Women's Health will be closed tomorrow Thursday September 17. We will evaluate tomorrow and discuss plans for our Friday's schedule. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Hurricane Sally packed more of a punch than we expected but we hope all effected are safe.

The American Cancer Society estimates for ovarian cancer in the United States for 2020 are:
About 21,750 women will receive a new diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
About 13,940 women will die from ovarian cancer.
Ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, accounting for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system. A woman's risk of getting ovarian cancer during her lifetime is about 1 in 78. Her lifetime chance of dying from ovarian cancer is about 1 in 108. (These statistics don’t count low malignant potential ovarian tumors.)

Premier Women's Health is now increasing the number of patients seen in the office in 10 minute, appointment only, increments. We will continue to be vigilant in response to COVID-19, and will adhere to the following guidelines:
🔹Patients will be asked to call upon arrival and someone will meet you at outside.
🔹Masks must be worn at ALL times. If you do not have a mask let a staff member know and one will be provided for you.
🔹ALL patients will be screened outside, under the awning, before their appointment.
🔹No guests are allowed to accompany patients during appointments.
🔹Please practice social distancing in common areas including waiting areas and hallways.

The Infirmary Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center is now scheduling appointments for the following individuals:

At this time, Premier Women's Health does NOT have the COVID-19 vaccination. As it becomes available to us, patients will be notified of their eligibility.
Community members age 75 and older and first responders can contact the Infirmary Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center for an appointment beginning Monday, January 18. Please do not attempt to call the phone number if you are not eligible for an appointment. We anticipate large call volumes, and your patience is appreciated.
