So with this COVID 19 mandate continuing I will keep you posted when I am back and running it has been a tough decision on whether we would be busy enough to open and having flowers delivered to supply our customers but Mother’s Day is coming and I will make a decision soon!! Hang in there, judging from stores flowers weren’t a priority ion people’s mind!! Sad to say!! Florist will already being losing proms weddings etc... that being said it is important for me to make sure the state also allows us to run full force to be worth our while to supply our shop with necessary things! This being Easter week I am so torn with the fact that I have closed the shop this is a first in 48 years!! I have been doing this since I was 14 years old and never had anything like this happen! We can not allow walk in traffic and that my suppliers closed down last week only offering fedex and then knowing that their state was left with a stay at home order!! It is very risky for me to order flowers when business as been quite as orders have not been coming in the last couple weeks understandably so not in the numbers I need for me to buy flowers and feel confident enough that I will sell them all I have a lot of cancelled orders for Easter ...churches and funeral flowers flowers to nursing home some are not allowing them etc... it goes on wedding dates being changed etc.. So as soon as this pass I will be up and running again and get back to what I do best!! This time is giving me a new sense of appreciation for my job!! God will take care of us all keep praying!! So things have changed since my last post!! I have never in all my years working seen anything like this! I am waiting on the state to see if I can work behind close doors and deliver have left a message have not heard yet!! So that being said I will have to be closed I can not take orders not knowing what is allowed! This is a scary time and I have decide to leave it in God’s hands!! Well certainly things are not normal right now...to say the least! That being said I am able to work behind close doors.
Easter is coming and certainly travel and Church services and
extended family dinners will not be the same this year! With that being said.....we can still deliver flowers and leave them at
the door no different then your mail or UPS etc....we are not open in store but can take orders by phone or you can send online. But remember to keep in mind flower availability will not be the same we can make beautiful spring arrangements but may not be what is on the website as my local suppliers are closed (from MA. and NH) so flowers are coming from Farm direct suppliers! These times are tough and uncertain
but we will get through it! So please if you would still like to wish someone Happy Easter, Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary, Thinking of you......etc...feel free to call!
