Once you've done your pre-harvest planning, the next step in a #timber sale is to determine your preferred selling method. Timber is generally sold by one of two methods: negotiation or sealed bid. You should seek the advice of your registered consulting forester to determine which method best achieves your harvesting objectives. http://ow.ly/Iak050BbUN4

Why we 💚#trees: GA landowners grow TONS of them. Literally. Our forests grow 64 cubic feet - or two tons - of wood per second! So we can feel good about the #forest legacy we're leaving for the next generation. #GAarborday

Pretty interesting find this week. An old tram rail being grown over by a gum tree. The client said that he had lived on the property for 75 years and had never seen this rail.
This is an interesting old double cat face line tree. The turpentine faces are almost grown over taking in the old fence wire with it.
