Happy Monday Primrose Families! We want to start our week off by introducing you to our first set of teachers in our Toddler classrooms. Our Toddler students are always active and busy while playing and learning and we have a great group of teachers to help aid and guide in their development. Our first set of Toddler teachers are in our Toddler 1 classroom, Ms. Trish and Ms. Meaghan.
It is crazy to think September is over and October is just around the corner. Our students have accomplished so much in their first month of the new school year and we always enjoying seeing all the wonderful learning experiences and fun that our teacher's capture on camera. We are so grateful for the teaching team we have and thank them for all they do each and every day.
Once our infants are ready to make the move into their next classroom, they will transition up into our young toddler program with Ms. Maria and Ms. Brianna. Our young toddler room is an extension of our infant program that helps our students continue their growth and development while preparing them for the adventures that await them in our toddler classrooms.
Happy Wednesday to all of our families! We know things are a little different this school year so we wanted to introduce you to our teaching team as the new school year kicks off. Over the next couple of weeks we will be sharing photos and short bios of your children's teachers so you can get to know them a little bit better. To start things off we wanted to introduce you to our infant teaching team with Ms. Kacey and Ms. Lindsay 🙂
In lieu of being able to celebrate our Primrose grandparents last Friday, we asked our families to share a special photo of their children with their grandparents. Thank you for all of our families who sent in a photo and to all of the wonderful grandparents for all you do for our students each and every day!! Happy Grandparent's Day ❤️
We had a successful first week of school last week. Our students immersed themselves into their new routines and had a fantastic week in their new classrooms. We loved seeing all of the fun and learning activities our students completed over the course of the week. We worked on our fine and gross motor skills, explored our new instruments for our music curriculum, painted at art center, and worked on our culinary skills at dramatic play. Overall, it was a wonderful first week of school!!
Once our students enter our Preschool program they are officially in our venture program where they continue their learning and development to help them prepare for Pre-K and beyond. Our Preschool team does a wonderful job assisting in the growth and development of our 3 and 4 year old students as they help them prepare for Pre-Kindergarten.
Once our students transition into our older wing they will typically start in our Preschool Pathways classroom which bridges the gap between our younger wing classrooms and our Preschool and Pre-K programs. Ms. Val and Ms. Emma are our Preschool Pathways teachers and they do a wonderful job preparing our students for Preschool and beyond.
Happy Monday to all of our families. We hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We wanted to start off the week by introducing our last set of teachers in our younger wing. When our toddler students are approximately 2 years old they make the transition into our Early Preschool classroom with Ms. Kassi and Ms. Melanie, where they continue their learning adventure in the Primrose Wonder Program 🙂
Our school offers two Toddler classrooms to accommodate the students we have enrolled in the toddler age group. We are so fortunate for the team of wonderful toddler teachers we have and want to take an opportunity to introduce our second set of teachers on our toddler team, who are teaching in our Toddler 2 classroom, Ms. Sandy and Ms. Emily.
During the month of November, our Primrose character Benjamin teaches students about the importance of generosity and performing acts of kindness for others. Each year we are humbled by the generosity from our families as we collect non-perishable items for the New Hampshire Food Bank. Thank you to all for your contributions and for helping those in need ❤️
We want to wish all who have served our country a very Happy Veteran's Day! We are grateful for your dedication and sacrifice and thank you for your service to our country 🇺🇸❤️
We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we are having on this fall Friday. As we introduced our teaching teams to you over the last few weeks, we wanted to finish by sharing our school's support staff team members. We are so grateful for our support teachers who assist in all areas of the building from Infants through Pre-K. They help our teaching teams implement the curriculum as well as assisting in the daily classroom routines. We are so thankful for their flexibility, help and support each and every day ❤️
Yesterday was a big day at Primrose as our students cast their vote for their favorite cookie. After tallying all of the votes, M&M cookies were the winner and will be our served on Friday afternoon for cookie Friday!!! 🍪😀
Our student's had a Spooktacular Halloween celebration at school today. We celebrated all day long with a costume party, special games, art projects, movies and cookie decorating. We loved seeing all the smiles and giggles students made today as well as all the great memories and photos captured on camera 👻🎃🥰
In addition to our classroom teaching teams, we want to introduce our families to our newest members of our team, our Chef and Administrative Assistant.
Ms. Carolynn joins Primrose as our administrative assistant and will be assisting at the front desk with our Leadership Team. She has a multitude of experience in administrative responsibilities with Early Childhood Education. She has been a wonderful asset to our team and has proven herself to be a quick learner, providing support up front.
In addition to Ms. Carolynn, we recently had Chef Michelle join our team as our school chef. Michelle has also been an integral part of our team as well. She had a seamless transition into her new role at our school and her cookies have already become a popular hit amongst our students.
We are very fortunate to have both Carolynn and Michelle at our school and are excited for the contributions they will add as part of our team.
Due to the anticipation of significant, winter storm and for the safety of our Students, Families and Staff, Primrose School at Bedford Hills will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd. We hope everyone stays safe and warm during the snowy weather.
What a crazy hair day looks like at Primrose!!
There is a Superhero inside all of us, we just need the courage to put on the cape. 🦸♂️🦸♀️
🌈” We are a box of crayons each of us unique,
but when we get together the picture is complete.”🌈
Heart warming Winter Wonderland Doors from our creative teachers.
Congratulation to our Pre-K teacher, Ms. Peggy, who has been selected as our “Apple of Our Eye” for the month of January.
Ms. Peggy moved to NH this past summer and joined our teaching team at the beginning of the news school year, starting her teaching journey in our Pre-K 1 classroom. Prior to her move to NH, Ms. Peggy had previous experience with the Primrose franchise as a teacher at other Primrose locations in North Carolina.
Ms. Peggy attended Haywood Community College where she received her certification in Early Childhood Education. Prior to working for the Primrose School at Bedford Hills, she has worked in the early childhood field as a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher for approximately 20 years.
Outside of Primrose, Ms. Peggy enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have traveled and lived in several places for his job, most recently setting roots in NH.
Ms. Peggy has been such a wonderful addition to our school. Since joining our Pre-K team, she has built a great rapport with her students and families. We are consistently receiving positive feedback form her parents on the wonderful job she is doing in the classroom. Ms. Peggy came to us with an abundance of knowledge and experience which made her transition into the classroom seamless. She does a great job following and implementing the curriculum into each day’s schedule and we are impressed with the consistent organization and learning taking place in her room.
Ms. Peggy is always flexible offering to help out when needed. She is consistently bright and cheerful and takes the time to greet you in the morning and ask how you are doing. She always has a positive attitude when she walks in the door.
We are so fortunate to have you here with us and for everything you do each day. Thank you for all that you do for our school, Ms. Peggy!
