HAPPENING NOW
Virtual Scholastic Book Fair
Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.
In our preschool classrooms, students are comparing living and nonliving things. After reading the story Plants by Gail Phillips Kahn, students discussed the traits of the objects in the book. Children then practiced sorting objects based on their living or nonliving traits!

Learning citizenship is part of every Primrose student’s experience. That’s why Veteran’s Day is a perfect time to celebrate our bravest citizens. This Veteran’s Day, we show what it means to be a good citizen by extending extra gratitude to our cherished veterans. This week we are proudly displaying a “Hallway of Heroes” to honor veterans who have courageously served our country.
The 2020 campaign season is over for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students. Students, teachers, and staff pulled out all the stops as two well-known Primrose candidates vied for the title of the presidential Primrose Friend mascot. After counting all of our votes, Mia the Mouse has won over our hearts by a landslide. Congrats, Mia!
Happy Election Day! Our Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms voted on who would become our very own presidential Primrose Friend, either Percy the Rooster or Mia the Mouse. Students learn about why voting is important to all Americans. Understanding the importance of civic responsibility gives our students the foundation they need to make a difference in the community at all levels!
This morning our wonderful families and teachers enjoyed a speciality coffee from The Espresso Affair!
Congratulations to the winner of our pumpkin decorating contest! Olaf was definitely a school favorite. However, all of the pumpkins were so amazing this year that our entire school has won a pizza party on Friday, November 6th!
Our students all the way from Infants to Kindergarten had the opportunity to visit our very own mini pumpkin patch this morning! Each child picked a very special pumpkin to take home with them.
Our annual Og’s Book Drive is in full swing through the entire month of February! Our ultimate goal is to create a brighter future for all children. Through the Og’s Bountiful Books program and donation drive, our hope is for all children to develop a love of reading early on and have easy access to books. We are so thrilled that the books our students donate will help other children in our community learn to read!
Og the Primrose bookworm is getting longer and longer! During the entire month of February, we are collecting new or gently used books for Og's Bountiful Books donation drive. Og will continue to grow each time a book is donated. Help us reach our goal of donating 400 books! #PrimroseGivesBack
Congratulations to the Tofach's for being selected as our February Family of the Month! We have absolutely loved having you all as part of our Primrose family!
We believe active minds starts with healthy bodies! Look at this colorful cranberry pasta salad Chef Doug prepared for our school today. It was as delicious as it looks!
Cookin’ up something new! We just assembled brand new replacement kitchen centers for several of our classrooms. We are committed to always keeping our school up to date, clean and safe.
At our school we perform monthly fire, lock down, and tornado drills. Students and teachers learn how to respond calmly and safely to a potential emergency. This morning we just so happened to be recording a teacher's introduction video at the perfect time!
