Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.

Apple of Our Eye - October 2020
Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Robare and I am the Lead Pre-Kindergarten teacher here at Primrose Atascocita! Although I’ve only been here for three months so far... I can tell you that I’ll be sticking around for so much longer! I love coming to work every day and seeing all of my happy Pre-K friends ready learn and grow! Every day brings something new and exciting to our class! Back in May, I graduated from Sam Houston State University (Eat Em’ Up Kats!) with my Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in General Business! When I’m not teaching my silly Pre-K kiddos, you can find me spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, or playing with my dog Miley! I love being outside, shopping, gardening and just being out and about but, at the same time, I also love staying in and reading or watching movies! Thank you for the opportunity to be October’s Apple of the Eye, it is such an honor! I love all my coworkers; you guys are so helpful and supportive! I definitely love my Pre-K friends who fill my classroom with laughter and joy, but parents you are awesome!!! Thank you for sharing your kids with me and allowing me to guide and prepare them for their future! Primrose Atascocita is definitely becoming my second family and I love it!!

Family of the Month - October 2020
We are the Jones Family! We have lived in Texas since 2014. In our spare time you will find us spending time as a family or watching sports.
We can't thank the teachers and staff at Primrose for everything they do for our little ones. Sullivan has made some incredible gains in development in his year and a half and we are excited for what the future brings for Delaney. We are 40% Texan by birth, 100% Texan by heart
Today we made our last stop in Italy for a sweet Gelato treat! Then teachers ended our Teacher Appreciation Week by collecting their “baggage” from baggage claim and headed home for a relaxing weekend!
Today for teacher appreciation we landed in China for a Chinese Buffet lunch!
Happy anniversary Ms. Miano. Thank you so much you do to make sure our toddlers have the best education and care.

Apple of Our Eye: November 2020
Hey there! I’m Shauna Sullivan, Lead Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose this year. I’m so blessed to have been granted this opportunity to be with kids, face to face, in the 2020 school year! I’ve been in public school for more than 20 years...mostly in kindergarten and 1st grade, but also as a reading recovery interventionist. My favorite part of teaching is the relationships I have with the kids! They are such an enormous part of my life, and I enjoy helping them develop academically, and socially. Kids are the best, and we laugh, sing, learn and play everyday! There’s nothing better! My husband is an Apache helicopter pilot with the National Guard, and has recently deployed for 10-12 months. Luckily I have my 15 yr old daughter, Savannah, and 19 yr old son, Jackson to help me through this year, along with my two dogs, cat and flying squirrel. ❤️ I love my job with these little humans, and I am so thankful to get to teach them in person!
Happy anniversary Ms. Matschiner. Thank you for everything you do to support all classrooms and for being such a positive influence in our school.

It’s Election Day for our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes! Our two candidates running are Mia the Mouse and Percy the Rooster. We discussed the importance of voting, read the books Duck for President and Splat the Cat for President, and talked about what we would do if we were President. It was a very close race, but we are excited to announce our winner is MIA THE MOUSE!

Family of the Month - November 2020
Hi, We are the Larson family! We are so honored to be family of the month. We have been part of the Primrose family for a while now and are truly blessed with all the love and support around us. We moved to Texas 4 years ago from Louisiana and have been welcomed with open arms ever since. As a family we love to play outdoors, have dance parties, cook, and watch our beloved LSU Tigers. Making lasting memories is our goal, and we try to do them any chance we get. We love our new home here in Texas and Primrose has made it even more special with the love and care for our Brooks and Mila. They love and adore all the staff just as much as we do. We look forward to the next few years with Primrose and all the memories to be made.
Love,
The Larsons
Wishing our Director, Amber Rhodes, a very happy birthday! We hope your day is as awesome as you are.

Apple of Our Eye - February 2021
Hi! My name is Faith Terrazas but everyone knows me as Mrs. Stewart! I recently married my wonderful husband Keith Terrazas in February 2020. We have 4 beautiful children who we love to spend time with. I was born in Channelview, Texas but I was raised in Humble, Texas. On the weekends you will often find us trying new places in the Houston area with our children. I have been working at Primrose School of Atascocita since December 2015 in the Toddler classroom. I love working with this age group and seeing how fast they learn new things!
