Our Pre-Kindergarten friends were able to identify the cirrus clouds in the sky today! They used their five senses to observe their surroundings, the temperature and the changing weather outside. They also charted their discoveries during project time!

Meet the Kessler family:
Mackenzie is 8 months old and is the happiest baby! Her favorite things right now are being outside, anything with her dad, and petting her two cats, Pixie and Merlin. Katie and Brandon both work in IT related fields and Brandon is also in the Army National Guard. They live in the Ballwin area & were so excited when Primrose opened. Mackenzie gets so excited each day that she gets to come learn and play with her friends!
We are thankful to the Metro West Fire Protection District, St. Louis County Missouri firefighters for visiting our school during Fire Prevention Week.
The children were busy learning about the importance of fire safety by participating in developmentally appropriate multi sensory activities throughout the week.

Diversity may seem like a complex lesson to tackle with young children. However, in today's global world it is important to teach children to appreciate different cultures and embrace the various qualities that make each individual unique. Our preschool friends have been busy learning that numbers are all around us. They went on a nature hunt to find pine cones, acorns and leaves to count. Way to go little explorers!

Our friends read a book about a Magical Pumpkin Patch, planted their seeds in our Primrose Patch in the morning and were delighted to awake from their naps to their very own Magical Pumpkins!
Our tiniest learners have been busy exploring clouds with Benjamin the bear this morning! They played with a variety of textures and surfaces as they explored different cloud sizes and colors during Wonder Time. They put them in a sequence from biggest to smallest to expand their knowledge and vocabulary.

Thanksgiving is a time to stop and reflect on everything we're grateful for, and at Primrose it's a long list. We're the most thankful for our children, families, teachers, and all the people who make Primrose so special! 🧡🤎💛
Our hearts are full with all the hard work our children did to earn over $350 to buy food for those less fortunate. They used their money to purchase items from Percy's Market to be donated to the Circle Of Concern to help members of our own community. We are so proud of our children for spreading kindness!
Our youngest learners have been busy developing a strong foundation for their language and literacy skills. Today during Wonder Time they were busy observing experience cards that show places people can go. They also worked on strengthening vocabulary and fine motor skills during this small group activity. We love watching our children learn about this big world they live in. ❤️
