Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.

STEAM: BIRD FEEDERS
Today we made bird feeders out of milk cartons. While working on these bird feeders we talked about what kinds of birds may visit our feeders, the best place to hang our feeders, and how we will observe and record our observations once birds start using our feeders!
We are thankful!
Our Pre-K class read a book "Thanksgiving Is For Giving Thanks" and then we talked about what are some ways that we can show our thankfulness and some of the things we can be thankful for!
In PreK today the students are clapping 👏 out the syllables, and then talking about which words have the same beginning sounds!
While in Preschool the children are reviewing and writing the letter "Nn"!

Small Group Literacy
Today during our small group literacy we learned about the letter Nn , the sound it makes and words that start with the letter Nn. Then we practice writing our letter Nn on our recording sheets an included a drawing of something that starts with this letter .

Groundhog Day into a GroundOg Day!
Today we will have Og act out seeing and not seeing his shadow and then announce the weather prediction to the children!
Our goal is to teach the students the meaning behind Groundhog Day and what it means when the groundhog sees its shadow.
