Our students had a great week filled with learning about Fire Safety. Sparky the Fire Dog taught us to make safe choices, we made fire themed crafts and even got to participate in some fire training games.
A big Thank you to the Centerville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff's office for coming out and visiting our Preschool through Explorers kids. Students were able to see a variety of police vehicles, see their lights, beep the horns, and meet two of their K9 units. We learned how they train both Westin and Rio with special commands and watch them complete a scent task and command. Thank you for keeping us and our community safe.
Benjamin the Weather Bear: Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.

Friendly Reminder: Our Coats for Kids donation drive is almost over. We have been collecting coats since the end of September. The final day is this Wednesday, October 28th. Please drop coats off in the Front Vestibule.

Friday was our "Pink Out" event in support of women's health and breast cancer awareness in the month of October. Thank you to the Pink Ribbon Girls for the awesome shirts, we loved partnering with you this year!

Thank you to our teachers and parents that helped make our Venture and Kindergarten classroom “Meet the Teacher Night” so successful. We loved getting to invite you into our school to take a look at our classrooms and officially meet your students teachers.
Come one, come all! Our book fair is set up outside for a sidewalk sale! You can come and shop the book fair at pick up tonight. We will have someone outside ready to check you out. We can except check, credit cards and can look up all e-wallet funds. Portions of all sales will come back to our school to help us purchase new books for our classrooms. Happy reading!

Today is a SPECIAL day....we are celebrating our Infant Lead Teacher Ms. Sandy Couch. Congratulations on 11 Years at the Primrose School of Centerville. We are so thankful for your love, your laughs and especially your fun singing and dancing.
We are excited about all of the donations for the Dayton Food Bank. Our Caring & Giving Food Drive goes until Monday, November 23rd. Keep encouraging students to do chores and help choose pantry items to support this amazing cause.

Today we celebrate showing kindness by creating notes, pictures, and crafts to brighten days and make those around us smile.
Og's Bountiful Book Collection has come. Please help us support or community and the Ronald McDonald House by bringing in new, unused books to donate. Our book collection will continue through Friday, February 26th.
Congratulations is in order for our PHENOMENAL School Assistant, Ms. Maxey. She has been such a nurturing addition to our school this past fall and we enjoy seeing how engaged she is with our preschool students. Ms. Maxey truly is a rock star of afternoon enrichment.
