October is all about cooperation! Cooperation is a basic life skill that helps us work successfully in groups and interact harmoniously with others. Our teachers had a chance to show their appreciation for their co-workers cooperation during our Teacher In-Service. 💕
Who says snack time can't be fun?! Here at Primrose, we use purposeful play with nurturing guidance to create an atmosphere that fosters learning at all times!
Today our Pre-Kindergarten class explored map making. Each child had an opportunity to create a map to any destination they desired. After mapping out their destination, they described some of the landmarks they used while creating a sentence.

Our Preschool Pathways classroom explored science and the concept of friction. They made predictions regarding the movement of beanbags using a multitude of surfaces. After experimenting our students were able to discuss with their peers if their predictions were correct.
In our Preschool program the children compared the size of their buildings to a variety of measurement materials in the classroom with their peers. They were able to compare the height and length using both standard and non-standard units of measurement using vocabulary related to measurement such as; tallest, shortest, longest, etc. Great work Preschool!
