Congratulations to the Ardoin Family for being the Family of the Month for October! See below for a sweet note from the family.
"We are the Ardoin family! We enrolled Sean into Primrose almost 2 years ago, and it has been the best decision we have ever made!
I was initially worried about his transition because he had attended the same daycare since he was 4 months old. The first day was a bit rough but, after that, it was smooth sailing. The teacher and staff are all amazing! We really enjoy all of the activities Primrose has to offer, especially in the summertime.
As a family, we enjoy eating at our favorite restaurant (Pho Ben), watching movies, and hanging out at the beach. We look forward to seeing what next year will bring!"
Our Preschool friends are enjoying this week's transition activity by marching into Circle time!

Congratulations to the Rust Family for being the Family of the Month for November! See below for a sweet note from the family.
We are the Rust family! Porschia (mom) and Colin (dad) moved to Sugar Land in 2012, and Theo came along four years later. Theo is now four years old and attending pre-K.
Early on, we had decided that Theo should begin school at three months old to allow Mommy to return to her job. Before Theo was born, we had toured a few schools in the Sugar Land area. However, we were sold on Primrose after we reviewed the curriculum and witnessed the attentiveness and care from the teachers during our tour. We made our decision immediately after the tour was complete.
Theo has enjoyed his long tenure at Primrose. He has made many friends along the way and adores his teachers. When we pick up Theo from school, he often tells us how much fun he had that day. He loves drawing and is currently working on mastering his letters and numbers. Theo loves going to Primrose and is looking forward to starting elementary school (the big school).
We want to thank all the staff for the great care that they have shown to Theo and his classmates. We also appreciate the follow-ups from the teachers on how we can implement and improve Theo’s learning outside of the classroom. We believe that Primrose has gone above and beyond during these difficult times, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in person again!
We congratulate Mrs. Dimonique Reed on being the Apple of our Eye for February. Mrs. Reed is a Preschool teacher and has been with Primrose School of First Colony since March of 2012!
Mrs. Reed comes in with a smile on her face and has a passion for working with children. Mrs. Reed is always ready to create a welcoming atmosphere for her students. She strives to enhance the learning curriculum through teacher story-telling and classroom experiences.
Mrs. Reed does not miss an opportunity to praise her children through their accomplishments. Her instruction style is warm, welcoming and promotes fun and growth for her students. Her desire to be an extraordinary educator is evident in her duty to providing her young preschool students the best classroom experience.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the Primrose Team. We are proud to have you as a member of our school!

Congratulations to the Jones-Goel Family for being the Family of the Month for February! See below for a sweet note from the family.
"Our little family of three, Ayaan, his mommy (Pallavi), and daddy (Anthony) are very pleased to have chosen Primrose First Colony for our rambunctious 3.5-year-old. Ayaan had the luxury of staying at home for quite a while before going to school so we knew he might take some adjusting. After extensive research of Montessori’s and daycares including emails, phone calls, and tours we unanimously decided to go with Primrose First Colony. This location came with strong recommendations from our friends who already had kids attend here. To add to that we were personally very impressed with their attentiveness, professionalism, cleanliness, curriculum, discipline philosophy, and safety techniques.
Ayaan is making great strides with his social development. He often speaks of his teachers and classmates fondly. He has learned to be gentler, share more, and even enjoy the various healthy meals they make. We particularly appreciate the daily activity updates with pictures and videos that they have on the app. It’s a good way to get a snippet into their school life and Ayaan always seems to be having a great time.
We want to thank all the staff for the effort and time they spend with Ayaan and look forward to many fruitful years of learning and growing! 😊"
After reading “Fish is Fish” by Leo Lionni, our Preschool Pathways students had the opportunity to explore picture cards and draw the animals they observed in the book. Preschool Pathways did such a wonderful job with their observations and even shared with their friends what other animals move underwater that they did not see in the book!
