Today was our Think Pink Day! We got to wear pink from head to toe, eat lots of yummy treats and enjoyed lots of fun pink activities! We think Breast Cancer Awareness is important and when somebody says, "You fight like a girl!" Our response is, "You bet we do!" We hope to continue to fight for a cure!
We have dedicated our front window of the school to Breast Cancer Awareness. On the table out there we have some ribbons and papers to fill out with someone that you may know that has been effected by Breast Cancer.
On Friday, October 9th we are showing our support by the whole school wearing Pink!
For October, our Apple of our Eye is Mrs. Martinez! Mrs. Martinez is our lovely cook who makes sure all the kiddos and staff members have happy bellies! Mrs. Martinez comes in every day with the brightest smile and the most positive attitude! WE LOVE YOU MRS. MARTINEZ!😘💛
For the month of September we have been collecting donations for our Annual Navajo Airlift. Friday, October 2nd is the last day to get your donations in! This year some of the items we can collect will be different as they are focusing on the main needs of the Reservation due to Covid-19. Please see below for the items they are asking to be donated.
Soap, cleaning supplies / Bleach, Disinfectant Wipes
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Face Masks, Gloves
Non-Perishable Goods: Canned Meat, Vegetables, Fruit, Dried Pinto Beans, Cooking Oil, Flour, Sugar, or Paper Goods such as Cups, Plates, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, etc.

Blankets
Cold Weather Coats, Jackets, or even cold weather clothing in good condition

For the month of September we've been learning about all the different cultures within our school. Today, we had all of our kiddos dress up and bring in something that best represents their culture! We got to create different flags, eat some different foods and talk about where our families came from. We love learning how small our world truly is!

This week our 4K and 5K students got to visit the Tolmachoff Farms Pumpkin Patch! While they were there they got to pick some vegetables, their own pumpkin and got to ride some rides. By all these faces you can tell we loved this field trip!
Trunk-or-Treat contest! Please like the trunk that you like best from last night! We will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner and will announce the winner tomorrow morning. Thank you to all of our staff members for their hard work and amazing decorating skills.
Thank you to all the wonderful families that came out to our annual Trunk-or-Treat! We wait all year for this event and we are so happy we were able to host it this year. A big shout out to all of our staff members who made this night possible. 👻🎃

Yesterday, Coach Rhett from Play Date Sports and Fitness came to do a demo for some of our classrooms. All of the kiddos loved learning how to balance, jump over the hurdles and crawling through the tunnel. If you would like more information on this ancillary activity please see the office.

Well it’s hard to believe that we celebrated our SWEET 16 today at Primrose School of Fletcher Heights🎉 This year has proven to be the toughest yet, but we couldn’t have gotten through it this far without our amazing families, dedicated staff and the sweetest kids around. We celebrated with a catered lunch for our staff and our children got to take a sweet treat on their way home. We want to thank ALL of our 3,800 families through the years❤️ Our amazing staff that we have been blessed with through the years ❤️ All the friendships made ❤️and ALL of our precious kiddos that give us so much joy each and every day at work❤️

Last week our schools celebrated Election Day, voting for Percy the Rooster or Mia the Mouse to represent their Primrose School. Election Day allows our students to understand the importance of civic involvement and citizenship early on.
