🎶 Ah, ah, ah, ah stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive! 🎶 CPR chest compressions should be done at 100 to 120 beats per minute or to the classic (and fitting) tune of “Stayin’ Alive.”
Did you know that all Primrose employees are CPR and First Aid certified? Tonight, new teachers became certified and some of our more seasoned teachers received their recertification in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid.
At Primrose, the health and safety of our students has always been our number one priority.
Who are you voting for in the upcoming Primrose election?
Percy teaches us courage and standing up for what is right, even if we stand alone. He helps us to resist negative peer pressure, and he teaches us to not allow fear of failure prevent us from trying new things.
Mia teaches us citizenship and how we can share in responsibility for what goes on in our communities. She wants us to obey the law, take care of the environment, and participate in community service opportunities.
This election year, students will learn about the importance of voting and will vote for either Percy the Rooster or Mia the Mouse on November 3rd!
Congratulations to Primrose School of Legacy's October Family of the Month, the Etus Family, and Apple of Our Eye, Ms. Lauren!
The Etus Family has been at Primrose for almost two years. Elin is three and in our Preschool II class, while Elle is one and in our Early Preschool I classroom. The love to frequent the park or zoo, have movie nights, and travel to San Francisco.
Ms. Lauren, who has been with us since August of 2018, is our Lead Infant Teacher. We love Lauren's ability to attend to each of her students' needs while implementing curriculum and assessing their development.
Congratulations!

Construction on our new school is starting to accelerate! Looking forward to sharing the finished project with all of our new families very soon! Stay tuned to our page for regular updates on our progress.
As educators, our goal is to help develop and nurture students’ skills. Over the past two weeks, our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students took Renaissance Star Early Literacy to gauge their performance on early literacy skills.
What is Star Early Literacy?
It is a computer-adaptive assessment taken on an iPad and uses audio in which a narrator reads the questions to students.
Our teachers will use these results, along with The Balanced Assessment Student Evaluation to record knowledge, skills, and abilities throughout the current school year.

We wrapped up our fall Tiny Toes soccer program with Evolution Soccer Club this week. Thank you, Coach Carrie and fellow coaches! ⚽️
We want our students to be able to take care of themselves when they head out into the world.
This week in Preschool, we helped prepare our students during Small Group Math.
Students counted while setting the table and sorted cups, bowls, forks, and food.
At-Home Activity: Have your child help set the table. They can sort and count the number of plates, cups, and silverware.
We are FALLing in love with autumn and the colors it brings.
This week, Early Preschool students texture painted with jumbo rollers and compared the different marks each roller left behind.
Thank you to all of our families for your donations to our Adopt-a-Family program this year! Things looked a little different this time, but the facility was overwhelmed with the amount of books, hats and gloves that our families generously donated. These pictures don’t even give justice to the amount of items that were donated. Primrose families are truly the best!
We were so happy to shower our Director, Katie, yesterday! We all can’t wait to meet that sweet baby girl 💕
Wear RED for on Monday, November 16 for Benjamin the Bear's birthday!
We asked our families to submit photos and a brief summary about their relatives who have worn our nation’s uniform. Our "Hallway of Heroes" is being displayed throughout the main hallway to honor veterans who have courageously served our country.
To all veterans of all branches, thank you for your sacrifice, your bravery, and the example you set for us all. To all those who have served, and those who continue to serve, Happy Veterans Day!
#VeteransDay #hallwayofheroes
Tomorrow, we will honor our nation's brave veterans by wearing red, white, and blue (no uniforms required)!
Thank you to all our families who have already sent us photos for our Hallway of Heroes! There's still time to email pictures of your family's veterans to pslegacy@primroselegacy.com to be hung up in our hallway.

Happy Groundhog Day!
Punxsutawney Phil‘s brother, Primrose Phil came to visit us today. Students learned about Phil seeing his shadow, the meaning behind it, and participated in a variety of activities.
Thanks for visiting, Phil!
Today, our Toddler students painted with yellow paint and used their hands to create a sun. Students learned about the color of the sun and practiced saying and signing “yellow.”
Congratulations to Primrose School of Legacy's February Family of the Month, the Ronshaugen Family, and Apple of Our Eye, Ms. Kathy.
The Ronshaugen family has been with Primrose since 2019. Josie is five and in our Pre-Kindergarten I classroom, Josie has a five month old brother named Owen. The Ronshaugen family loves to ride bikes, hike or play tennis together.
Ms. Kathy has been with Primrose since August of 2016 and is the Assistant Teacher in Preschool I. Ms. Kathy started as a Closing Teacher and has spent her Primrose career with our Preschool students. Ms. Kathy has a great personality and builds positive relationships with her students and their families.
Congratulations to the Ronshaugen family and Ms. Kathy!
We had a special guest come visit us this week, our Primrose friend, Percy the Rooster!
Book knowledge and early literacy are important skills to us here at Primrose. We strive to give our students the foundation they need in order to learn and grow, and ultimately set them up for success as they enter Kindergarten.
Below is a video sent from a parent of their two year old talking about the different parts of a book at home.
We love seeing school and home moments like this in action!
This winter weather is making us feel extra cozy, so we decided to make our late start of 10:00 AM tomorrow a Pajama Day!
Stay safe and warm!
