We have had a week filled with learning all about fire safety. We celebrated the end of National Fire Prevention Week with a fire truck photo booth!
Our Preschool students had fun learning how to Stop, Drop, and Roll as part of their fire safety lesson today. We are excited to continue to celebrate National Fire Prevention week!

Please join us in congratulating Ms. Kelsey Smith as she has been selected our October 2020 Apple of our Eye! Ms. Smith has been teaching in our Pre-Kindergarten I classroom over the last four years. We appreciate her kind and genuine nature. We love the way she always delivers the WOW for her students, making sure her classroom is clean, organized, and her students are having fun while learning!

This week is school picture week!
As a reminder, Young Infants through Preschool Pathways students and their siblings will have pictures taken on Thursday, October 1st. Preschool through Private Kindergarten students will have pictures taken on Friday, October 2nd.
If you would like your child's picture taken, packages must be selected in advance and payment made prior to or on the day of the photos. If you have any questions please feel free to ask a member of the management team.

We are so glad that many of our students and their families were able to join us for our Trunk-or-Treat event Friday evening! A very special thank you for all of the treat donations and to all of our families and teachers who decorated trunks. This event is truly not possible without the tremendous amount of participation from our families, and we are thankful for your efforts in helping to make the season so festive for all of our students!

During Literacy, our Kindergarten students worked on their phonics skills, focusing on the letter Tt. They enjoyed using the "look and find" Tt poster and rainbow writing Tt sight words. Have fun seeing how many Tt words you and your child can come up with!
Happy birthday to our Primrose Pal, Benjamin! Benjamin the bear is the happiest when playing outdoors. He loves to climb trees, play in the forest, stomp in puddles, and smell the flowers. He helps teach our students all about generosity, the virtue that inspires us to perform acts of kindness for others without any reward for the effort.

How Children Show Kindness at a Young Age
Learning citizenship is part of every Primrose student's experience. That's why Veteran's Day is a perfect time to celebrate our bravest citizens. This Veteran's Day, we showed what it means to be a good citizen by extending extra gratitude to our cherished veterans that are a part of our Primrose family. Each classroom displayed their own Wall of Heroes to recognize those who served or who are currently serving. Thank you for your service!

Our Caring and Giving Food Drive is under way! Our students enjoyed discussing generosity and decorating boxes to help generate excitement for our food drive benefiting the People in Need inc. of Delaware County. Our Primrose pal, Benjamin, would be so proud!

During Math Small Group, our Pre-Kindergarten II students worked with a partner to order containers by capacity. They then used water to measure and see if they put the containers in the right order from least to most.
Each morning our students start their day with Circle Time. After reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, our Toddler class reviewed the Rules of the Roost, sang the Good Morning song, and talked about what makes them happy! We know it makes us happy to see their bright smiles all day long! ☀️😃
We would like to congratulate Ms. McKennah Martin as she has been selected our February Apple of Our Eye! Ms. McKennah is our Preschool Pathways teacher and we appreciate her passion for teaching and the love she has for each child in her classroom. We love seeing the music class dance parties and all the fun she has with her students. Congratulations Ms. McKennah, we are so grateful to have you as a part of our Primrose team!
