Next week we kick off our Chores for a Good Cause Canathon with a Spirit Week! Usually the students bring in money they have earned from doing chores to purchase groceries for Mission Arlington. However, with COVID-19 we are changing the campaign this year and asking students to still do chores to earn money but instead buy canned goods and dry food that you bring to school to fill your students class grocery cart. All food will be donated to Mission Arlington the Monday before Thanksgiving. Mission Arlington relies on us heavily to help them replenish their food bank. Now more than ever they need our help. Last year we were able to help over 20,000 people. Remember for every 5 canned or dry good items your student brings during spirit week they will get a raffle ticket. We will draw on Friday and the winner will get $50 worth of groceries put in their class grocery cart by Ms. Lynne! Remember the class that donates to most canned and dry food items will win a class pizza and ice cream party!
