Generosity is the virtue that inspires us to perform acts of kindness for others without any expectation of a personal reward for the effort. It begins as a feeling; but it becomes a way of behaving. We can exhibit generosity and make a difference in the lives of others, when we are unselfishly responsive to the concerns and needs of others.
This year has looked a lot different for many of us around the Triangle. Since our doors opened in 2004 Primrose School of North Raleigh has teamed up with The Northern Wake Optimist Club and Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill every holiday season.
Every year we collect new and unwrapped toys for the Santa Room. This room focuses on the children and siblings who spend the holidays in the hospital and at the Ronald McDonald House tending to love ones. Many of these families are far from home during this season.
Due to COVID-19 the Ronald McDonald has asked us to focus on gift cards this year for their families. The Santa Room is closed for safety measures so any financial help they can receive will go a long way.
You are welcome to drop off gift cards in any denominations here the front desk between now and Friday, December 11th. Or you are welcome to donate directly to the Ronald McDonald House through the link below.
Help us bring Love and Joy to many of these families battling health during this holiday season!
