Miss Alex, a bilingual teacher, is working with one of our new Primrose students on identifying feelings. Miss Alex enriched the lesson for this student by using his native language to sing about different emotions. He was able to make a corresponding face to match each emotion after the Wonder Time lesson!

Today for National Fire Prevention Week (October 4-10), Peters Township Fire Department came for a visit! The children learned a lot about fire safety! Thank you to the firemen for coming out to visit us! We appreciate you keeping us safe!🚒 👨🚒

Our Toddler Class is learning about the outdoors with a focus on rain today, what a perfect rainy fall day to do so! The students were able to use watercolors to make rainfall on their own paper. The students experimented with different water to paint ratios to see how this effected their rain scene. 🌧💦☔️🎨🖌

After planting our “magical pumpkin seeds”, our children took their naps. When they woke up, the magic happened! Our Primrose Patch was full of pumpkins!!!! 🎃🍂 We enjoyed seeing the sparkle in the children’s eyes as the picked their own pumpkin. It was truly a magical time. ✨✨✨
Yesterday at Primrose we held our very own election! We got to cast our ballots for either Percy the courageous Rooster 🐔 or Miss Mia the mighty strong Mouse 🐭 We had so much fun getting the chance to vote just like adults! 🤗✍️❤️💙

Congratulations to our Early Preschool 1 class! They won our fall door decorating contest! The doors were judged by the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce, Peters Township Fire Fighters, and our own Primrose teachers. It was a close one, but the EPS came out a winner! Congratulations!!!

Today our Pre – Kindergartners were learning about the importance of stopping germs from spreading! After reading “The Flea’s Sneeze”, they talked about how to protect themselves and their friends from getting sick. Then the students were able to create their own picture about letting their elbows catch their sneeze! 🤧😷

The students in our Explorers Program are taking part in their online virtual learning via livestreams! The students have the great opportunity to participate in their virtual learning that our teachers assist them with, and when having a break from virtual learning the students get to experience the enriching Primrose Curriculum!
Happy Groundhog Day! The pre-kindergarten students were practicing making predictions this morning on the outcome of Groundhog Day. We were excited to share with our pre-kindergarten students and the rest of the school that the groundhog saw his shadow! Bring on more of the winter fun!
