We had another fun filled week here at the Primrose School of Plainfield as we continued our unit of learning: Alike and Different! Our Wonder program (Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool & Preschool Pathways) continued to learn about similarities and differences in the people around them by exploring emotions and feelings. The children explored basic emotions (happy, sad, angry). Our Venture Program (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, & Kindergarten) explored how they were similar and different to those around them by discussing and comparing genetic traits. They used mirrors to observe their eye color, hair color, etc. The children explored size as they compared the size of their own handprints and footprints to those of their peers. They also compared the size of their handprints to other objects in the classroom.
