Hello, my name is Ms. Leal and I am the Assistant Teacher of the Preschool Pathways Classroom at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington. I am currently taking courses at Tarrant County College. I have over 4 years of childcare experience and love helping the children be inspired to fulfill their highest potential in preschool. I believe that preschool teachers are the foundation to a child’s learning abilities. I enjoy teaching in a fun learning environment and watching the children have fun learning. If I could teach a child one thing it would be independence and the ability to be self-thinkers. Congratulations Ms. Leal on being the Apple of Our Eye!

Yesterday we learned about Greece! We learned about their cultures, their flag and their language! To end the day we had a taste of Greek yogurt, yum!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Join us in wearing pink Friday, October 16, for our annual PINK OUT in support of those who have been affected by Breast Cancer!
At Primrose, we pride ourselves on helping children to become active members in their community as well as throughout the world. We want our children to learn about generosity and how to be kind towards one another as a way of life, without expectation or reward.
In the spirit of the season, our school will be having a Caring and Giving Food Drive. We are taking donations of non-perishable food items. All proceeds will be donated to Mission Arlington.
We will be collecting donations now through Thursday, November 19th.
Today is Election Day at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington! Students in our older classrooms are voting! Mia the Mouse and Percy the Rooster are running for the title of presidential Primrose mascot.

Hello, my name is Ms. Wooldridge and I am the Lead Teacher of the Pre-K II classroom at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s in Education. One of the greatest moments of teaching is experiencing those teachable moments with the students and helping them gain an understanding for difficult concepts. I am excited to gain growth in my self and build relationships with my students to provide them with guidance in and outside of the classroom. If I could teach a child one thing it would be empowerment and the feelings of accomplishment once they have reached their individual goals.

Meet our February Apple of Our Eye! I’m Khadija Edwards. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. My hometown is Tangier, Morocco. I have my Food Protection Manager Certification. My favorite food is Mexican food, and my favorite children’s book is Where the Wild Things Are. I have over 19 years in childcare. You see, at Primrose Schools we’re more than a team of professional teachers and child care education specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though he or she was our own. And like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
