Meet the 'Cleave Family', our family of the month!
Hi from Thomas, Katie, and Ezra- we are the Cleave family. Thomas is a Warehouse Supervisor, Katie is the General Manager for a local brewery, and most importantly,
Ezra is currently enjoying his time in Pre-K here at Primrose. Our little family has the most fun on family bike rides, playing outdoors, seeing live music, building legos, and waiting for the garbage truck on Friday mornings- the finer things in life.
You’ll most likely see Ezra in the halls sporting his favorite Blackhawks hat. We are grateful to be a part of this community here at Primrose, for the friendships Ezra has made, and the education and care the staff has shown for him.
Happy Anniversary to our Director.
It is with a happy heart that we announce the first anniversary of our director, Lisa Schmidt.
We cannot believe that a year has already passed. That being said, we are proud to share, that it is your hard work, your empathic approach, extreme loyalty and working with extreme diligence that we have made it through this hard world we are living in.
It is your compassion to our teachers, families and children that makes you the epitome of Primrose school St Charles West. Leadership comes on paper and in-person. You tick all the boxes of being, a true leader.
Thank you for putting up with us all and answering all our questions and concerns on a daily basis, even in the evening and weekends. You are our 'Gem'!
Happy First Anniversary!

As October comes to a close, the children, teachers and leadership chose to wear pink in support of 'Breast Cancer Awareness'. The month of October highlights all those that have been affected in one form or another. This month signifies the importance of education, care, treatment and support for all those affected!
We're the Lanthrum family: Andrew, Ali, Ellis, and our cat, Dr. Jones (he's a professional).
Ellis is 3 and in Preschool. He loves reading, JUMPING, being silly, trees, and chocolate, as often as possible! He gets it from his parents, Andrew, who works in IT, and Ali, who works at the Library.
We garden and raise Monarchs in the summer and build train tracks and make forts in the winter. We've lived locally and abroad, and we are so happy to be part of the Primrose family!
The Pre-K children had an impromptu New Years Eve party. They enjoyed having a mock countdown with confetti and yelling “Happy New Year” as the clock struck 12:00 🥳🎊🎉
Welcome Ms Herra - The Apple of our Eye!
Thank you for being such a great teacher and a lovely, kind and a very happy person. We all love you so much!
Our Pre-Kindergartners gift to their Parents. Thank you Ms. Marroquin for working very hard and making ‘Tis Christmas fun for our Children!!
‘Tis the season. May the holiday season fill your home with joy. Wish your family safe and fun-filled holidays!!
Family of the Month
We’re the Kosirog family. Brad, Miriam, Grace, Jocelyn, Penelope, and our two pups—Daisy & Taylor. Poor Brad is the only guy in the family, but thankfully he doesn’t complain. 😊
Jocelyn (JJ) is 5 and goes to Kindergarten at Western Avenue School in Geneva. She also attends the explorers classroom for remote learning. She loves math and making friends.
Penelope (Poppy) is 4 and in pre-school. She loves dancing and being silly.
Grace is 15 and a sophomore at Geneva High School, where she plays tennis and basketball. Her little sisters adore her!
Brad owns a fastener distribution company and Miriam works in investment management. We’ve lived in Geneva for 6 years and love being part of the community. We are especially grateful to be a part of the Primrose family!
