Social-emotional intelligence is one of the best predictors of future success. Our Balanced Learning approach weaves character development and life skills into daily learning experiences so children can develop positive relationships along with reading, writing, and math skills.
Our friend Katieยฎ is a curious cat who is interested in people's lives. She's polite and fun to be around, helping children learn how to share and care for each other. Read how to encourage your little one to share: https://www.primroseschools.com/blog/3-tips-to-help-your-child-learn-to-share/
Just like the student Weather Reporters in our classrooms, you can help your little ones be more aware of their surroundings and seasonal patterns by encouraging them to craft an at-home weather station, like this cute windsock. Watch the easy instructions below.

The lesson plan for EPS this day was, โMy family, Your familyโ the class worked on some sentence fragment practice. Using the sentence fragment: โThis is your friends (students family), look they have....โ we had the class complete the sentence by identifying our classmates, using our class attendance cards, and finding the classmate's family ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ on our family board! Together we jotted down our observations that we saw ๐ in each photo and focused on facial features, and emotions. The class did a great job working together ๐โโโ, and brainstorming! Way to go EPS!
~Benjamin the Weather Bear~
Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun, or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.
