We learned about " Alike and Different" and discussed how each student has different traits that make them unique. The students looked at themselves in the mirror , then colored their picture to make their eye color.

Small group literacy: We made letter books for letters Ll, Zz, and Pp. The students then drew and wrote lion, zebra and porcupine
Reading in Young Toddlers
Today we played a sharing game. We passed a beanbag around the group. When it was our turn to have the beanbag, we shared one thing that our daddy does to show his love.

Our first Trunk or Treat was a success.

A little heart collage fun in Preschool 1
We learned about different night time routines ๐
Today we looked at pictures of people doing different steps in a bedtime routine. (Having dinner, doing dishes, pajamas, reading a story, going to bed) We found toys from around the room and acted out each step.
WAKE UP
Today each of us chose an Experience Card with a picture of a morning routine on the cards. We used classroom baby dolls to act out the morning routines that we chose.
Today we read the story "In My Heart". Afterwards the children discussed how their hearts feel when they are kind to a friend. They drew a picture of a time they were kind to a friend and finished the sentence "my heart feels ______ when I am kind to a friend."
Today we listened to the story, Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. After the story, we discussed what it is like outside when it is bedtime and some of the things we notice in the night sky. We then traced different circles to create the Moon.
