Our little friends have enjoyed the nice Fall weather as they play outside during Thumbs Up this week! Their happy smiling faces make our day!
Our Early Preschool class discussed emotions this morning and then acted them out. Fun lessons like this help the kids as they begin to recognize and identify a variety of emotions in themselves and others, learn how to label feelings and begin to understand emotional cues.

Our Primrose Friend Benjamin the Bear teaches children to be aware of the weather. Rain, sun or snow, the class discusses what they see outside, then dresses Benjamin in the appropriate clothes for the day.
Preschool learned about letters "C" and "D" and practiced writing them using wipe-off letters. They were so proud of themselves! It brings us joy to be part of their learning.
Students are sorting and classifying this week! Toddlers sort shapes on the magnet board while their teachers reinforce shape and color vocabulary. Preschoolers are sorting and classifying by shape, color, and creating their own sorting rules.

It's Magical Pumpkin time! The children made their wishes and scattered their pumpkin seeds. PUMPKINS miraculously appeared. The kids loved "growing their pumpkins". Each class picked one out to decorate in preparation of our Fall Parties and celebrations next week. 🎃🎃🎃

This morning, we took our Pre-K on a field trip to see the bus. We practiced parking lot and bus safety! They even enjoyed a safe drive around the parking lot.
We are so excited about Spring and all the beautiful, warm, sunny days ahead. Our teachers and students put together some really cute bulletin boards for March!
Preschool Pathways looked at pictures of flowers and compared and contrasted the different shapes, sizes and colors of the flowers. They then created a textured flower of their own to put in their classroom "garden".
