This week we are featuring our Early Preschool 1 classroom with Ms. Melissa and Ms. Kathy. As you can tell from the photos, these teachers LOVE to brighten up their classroom with the children's work π
Ms. Melissa and Ms. Kathy make each day exciting and fun for their class and are some of the best morning greeters we haveπ
Our November bulletin boards π¦π
Our Unit of Learning for November is all about caring and giving β€οΈ The artist Pablo Picasso once said, βThe meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away." The more we give to others, the more we have for ourselves.
π‘The children will all be learning about generosity and thankfulness. Our younger students will learn concepts about who loves them and how to properly show affection to others. Our older students will practice these special character traits as they participate in one of our favorite projects in Balanced Learning-the Primrose Promise Caring and Giving Event. Throughout this unit the children show generosity when they donate, sort, and count canned and boxed food to give to other people who are not able to buy food for themselves.
Today we bid farewell to Ms. Mary, who has worked at Primrose since 2012 and has been a face of familiarity for our families throughout the years. Ms. Mary was previously our Infant teacher and more recently has come out of retirement to be our morning greeter each day and help assist with drop-offs among various other duties that we are so grateful for. πππ
You will be SO SO SO missed, Ms. Mary and we wish you the best of luck with your non-profit cat rescue and all of your future endeavors βοΈ
Come back and visit ANY TIME π
Today we celebrated Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights! We learned about this special holiday and the traditions that come along with the celebration. We read books, made special crafts, and some of us got to taste some specialty treats!
Happy Diwali ππβ¨ #GoodOverEvil
We would like to wish our families celebrating a Happy Diwali!
πΊπΈVeteran's Day 2020 πΊπΈ
"The willingness of America's Veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude." β€οΈπ€π
Thank you Veteran's today and every day for your courage, strength, and honor. We sent a digital postcard to our military heroes that will be attached to a holiday care package being delivered to troops sacrificing time with their loved ones while serving our country overseas. #HereForOurHeroes #operationgratitude
Ms. Shiney is the "Apple of our Eye" for the month π
