As a Diesel Mechanic at Priority, you will use your skillset to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of construction equipment from top manufacturers. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and repair equipment from industry leading manufacturers such as Komatsu, John Deere, Takeuchi, Bomag, Genie, JLG, JCB and more
Will be expected to provide own mechanic’s tools relevant to the position
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job
Maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
Comply with all Safety Requirements of the company & job site
Other duties assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License with optimal driving record
1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment strongly preferred
Advanced Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background of a variety of engines
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
Excellent customer service, team work and verbal/written communication skills
Must be willing to work some evenings & weekends

Priority Equipment Rental is a full-service heavy equipment rental company. As a CDL Driver at Priority Equipment Rental, your goal will be to assist in meeting equipment
needs of our customers by delivering equipment in a safe, timely, efficient and courteous manner. You will frequently interact with customers and will often be the face of our company. This is a full-time local position, and you will be home every night. RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Deliver and Pickup equipment to and from customer job sites
-Haul customer equipment when requested
-Effectively communicate any customer issues with the customer and supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction
-Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment
-Maintain a safe working environment by keeping work vehicle & working area clean
-Comply with all safety requirements of the company & job site
-Other duties assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Minimum 3 years experience hauling heavy machinery
-Ability to effectively plan route and perform duties in the most efficient manner possible
-Must be willing to work some evenings & weekends when needed
