Busy Cardiac and Vascular practice is looking to hire an experienced and talented individual to assist the team as a Certified Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• obtaining vitals
• extensively reviewing past medical history
• obtaining and confirming accurate medications list
• refilling prescriptions
• performing EKGs
• manual blood pressure readings
• phoning patients with test results
• updating patient chart in EMR
• other duties befitting a medical assistant.
Excellent EMR and computer skills a must.The ideal candidate is an individual that is professional, organized, outgoing, enjoys working with patients, and a self-starter.
Must be able to obtain accurate, manual BPs and be very adept at EKGs.

Dr Nelson has been my cardiologist since 2012. He provided care and guidance during my aortic valve replacement. I now live in KY but I travel to his office for my checkups.
Dr Nelson is a great guy with an exceptional and friendly staff. We couldn’t be happier with them.
