These last 8 weeks of social distancing have been challenging.

We want to open our doors again, but we want to protect our clients, our loved ones and our community more, so we'll be doing so slowly.

Although the law allows us to reopen today, May 15th, we will be holding off a little longer. We will begin taking appointments again for June 1st and beyond. And, like everything COVID-19 related, this is subject to change. Our business does not afford us the option to safely socially distance while providing our services, so we are operating under extreme caution.

We have the best clients, and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We've received so many beautiful calls from many of you over these past weeks.

Only 1 year ago, Teresa and Katherine were celebrating Easter together in Vienna - a lot has certainly happened in a year. Hope you are all staying safe. Sending our love from our scattered locations 💜

It is with a very heavy heart that we must share the news that our buildings are going to be torn down due to damage from the Derecho. Our family's second home. Where Teresa has raised her 3 children. Where Katherine grew up. We do not know exactly when, or precisely how much time we have to collect ourselves and find a new space, but the search is underway.
Moving will be very challenging considering we will need to renovate any space we find (and can afford) into something suitable for our business, which will come with their own costs during an already very difficult year.
We have received wonderful support from our beloved customers, and after some encouragement, we have created a GoFundMe for anyone interested and able to help us find our new home. We understand this has been a challenging year for all of us, so any help we receive, and in any form it comes, we cannot overstate our gratefulness.

Over the Christmas & New Year holidays, we will be packing up our business home of 25 years and moving to a new location.
We will be closed from Christmas Eve (Th. Dec. 24th) through Sun. Jan. 3. to enjoy the season with our family and to move into and set up our new space.
We will reopen on *Monday, Jan. 4th* in our new location at 2020 Sylvia Ave NE, Cedar Rapids. You'll find us right next to Point Plaza off of Center Point Road, near the I-380 exchange.
