Winter is approaching!
Checklist
1. Check heating and air conditioning system. Please change the filter especially since the fires .
2.Caulk all windows and trim. Paint all exposed wood surfaces.
3. Seal masonry and hard surfaces.
4. Check gutters for drainage and clean as needed. Make sure the water is flowing away from the house.
5. Clean chimney and get firewood.
6. Test smoke and Co2 detectors.
7. Drain any outside water sources.
8. Check your trees for dead limbs and cut big limbs next to the house.
9. Check attic and foundation vents are clear. Make sure that the air flow isn't blocked. If so it will cause mold. Also make sure there isn't any holes in the vent so critters stay outside where they belong.
10. Wrap all water lines with insulation that will be exposed under and outside your house.
