With cold front (polar vortex) on the way, don't be a victim of a burst pipe.
Open cabinet under sinks to provide room temperature.
Never apply direct heat to a frozen pipe.
Let water trickle to keep it moving.
Hot water is the most susceptible.
Block any drafts near plumbing with some kind of insulation: Basement doors and windows.
Check: Sump pumps outlets and hose spigot's.
