Obituary for Noel S. Boyle
On Nov. 19, 2019 the world lost a real Irishman, devoted family man and beloved friend by all those who crossed his path. Noel Stephen Boyle was born Dec. 27, 1955 in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland, to parents, James and Eileen (Kane) Boyle. Noel was 63 when he passed. The loss of his gentle soul and mighty fighting spirit is already felt by those close to him. Noel was the type of person who was impossible not to like. He had an infectious personality and breathed life and energy into any room he entered.
Noel was proud and true to his Irish blood and held-on to his citizenship. He loved the water and all of the fun to be had on it, fishing and swimming. He was a sports fanatic and was totally enamored by the University of Michigan athletics. Most of all, he had a love for humankind that beamed through it all.
Noel leaves behind his children, Riley, Connor and Erin Boyle; grandchildren, Mara and Declan Olman and London Lohner; siblings, Tony, Gerard, Eileen, Mary and James; and many amazing close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Linus and Thomas.
A memorial service honoring Noel's life will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Noel's memorial fund with checks payable to Edward Jones.
Noel and his family are being cared for by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
We are saddened by the loss of our dear friend and valuable member of the Pure Water Works Family. His jovial spirit, generosity and dedication will be missed.
Rest in Peace Noel We love you
