This will be my 17th year dancing and my 4th year teaching! I grew up dancing at Dance Express in Mankato and trained there from the age of 3 up until I graduated in 2018. I am a Junior at the University of Minnesota, and a third year member of the U of M dance team. My favorite style of dance is lyrical! I started teaching at QC last year and I am so thankful to be apart of this dance family.
Fun facts:
- I have two dogs, Zeke and Shyla
- I have 3 younger sisters
- My favorite tv show is criminal minds
- I broke my arm when I was 3 years old

Congratulations to October’s Student of the Month nomination, Elliana Kothbauer!
Miss Emilie is so happy to have Elliana in her Tuesday Hip Hop class. She says, “This will be the second year that I have had Elliana in my hip hop class! She is such a hard working dancer who comes each week ready to learn and have fun. She has an amazing positive attitude and is always ready for a laugh. I am so proud of how much Elliana has grown in her confidence and as a dancer and I am so excited for the year ahead! Thank you for being an absolute rockstar!

Some of our wonderful dancers, families, and teachers spent the afternoon volunteering at Feed My Starving Children last weekend.
We are grateful for these wonderful opportunities for QC to be able to help out in our community!
Congratulations to our November Student of the Month Sophia Rivera!
Miss Nicky loves having Sophia in her class! She comes to class each week with a smile on her face, ready to learn. Watching how hard she works followed with a huge, accomplished smile is priceless! Sophia is always listening and she takes corrections very well, all while being polite to teachers and classmates. Sophia takes pride in her dancing and it shows.
She is very excited to see how Sophia grows this year! Keep it up Sophia!!

On day six of our 2021 giveaways we have free tuition to our new Yoga for Dancers class. This class will be held for dancers ages 7 and up starting on Friday nights in February.
