Remember, Water volume is heavy! The pressure of water against your foundation is known as hydrostatic pressure. As the pressure builds water may enter through the weakest points in your foundation wall. This can include cracks in the wall, floor, or through the pores of the concrete itself causing you basement to flood.
Make sure to check your sump pumps through this rain storm to make sure they are functioning properly.
