Dr. Quatela shares this patient's story: It's always amazing to me when someone comes to me who has had their nose done previously elsewhere. I can only imagine that it must take tremendous fortitude to trust someone else again.
Such was the case for this patient who had her nose done 10 years ago. When she first saw me, she was nervous and had a lot of trepidation about doing it again. She had never been happy with the form and function after her original surgery all those years ago. She had a persistently deviated septum, slight dorsal hump, and lack of tip definition, which I addressed with a revision rhinoplasty.
It's always so rewarding to see the change from fear to confidence, and watch the feelings of distress melt away when the cast comes off. I'm so grateful to her for having faith in our ability to give her the results she wanted.

We were so excited to restore this patient’s hairline with FUT (Folicular Unit Transplantation), also known as the strip method as it involves the removal of a strip of hair-bearing skin from the back of the scalp that is then separated into microfollicular unit grafts to be transplanted. Recovery is minimal, and you may begin to see results around 3-4 months, although it generally takes up to a full year.
