Querubin Mendoza, MD graduated from George Washington University of Medicine. Prior to medical school, he attended Towson State University and Johns Hopkins University. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Colorado. He acquired further training in Percutaneous Endovascular Intervention at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Texas, where he became the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Coronary Care Unit. After twelve years with the United States Army and promotable to Lieutenant Colonel, began private practice in 1997 and subsequently joined Florida Hospital Physicians Group.
Dr. Mendoza is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He has published numerous research papers and authored a chapter in a cardiology textbook. He is a member of various local, state and national medical associations.
When not saving lives, Dr. Mendoza enjoys spending time with his wife and two children here in the Tampa area. He enjoys a variety of sports, especially tennis, and plays a variety of musical instruments.
