Hello Friends!
Johnston Fire Fighters, Local 1950 is holding a fundraiser to support our sister, Stephanie “Tephie” Karbowski. Stephanie is the wife of veteran Johnston Fire Fighter David Karbowski.
Stephanie was diagnosed with breast cancer on February 14, 2018. Over the last 3 years, she has undergone surgical procedures, chemotherapy and radiation.
Unfortunately, over the past few months, Stephanie’s health has been declining. She’s been in and out of the hospital with severe difficulty breathing. Sadly, the cancer came back, and she was recently again diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Stephanie is an amazing, kind-hearted woman who has devoted her life to early childhood education as a preschool teacher. She and David are the proud parents of two beautiful young daughters of their own.
Understandably, these times are difficult for everyone, but we need Stephanie to stay positive and concentrate on remaining strong.
