If your furnace is having trouble keeping up with the cold, avoid using devices designed for outdoor use to warm things up inside your home. Unvented heaters that burn fuel produce carbon monoxide, which can dangerous and deadly!

It seems as if we've made it back into some warmer winter temps. With that being said keep in mind our heating equipment has worked a bit extra the last few weeks with the colder weather. It's a good idea to check your fuel supply if you use LP or fuel oil.

Periods of extreme cold can cause furnaces to work overtime. If you rely on propane or fuel oil for heat, keep watch on your tank’s fuel gauge. Make sure to reorder before it gets critically low. Increased demand during cold weather can slow deliveries. #ReadyWI
