Rabih Nemr, MD, is a bariatric and general surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and an assistant professor of clinical surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Nemr performs minimally invasive and advanced bariatric procedures, including gastric banding, laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery, and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. He is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he performs surgeries.
Dr. Nemr has been in practice for 10 years, offering a comprehensive approach to weight loss management. He specializes in metabolic and weight loss surgery and is board certified in general surgery and bariatric surgery.
Dr. Nemr graduated from Lebanon University School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his general surgery residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York and served his fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at New York Medical College. Before joining NewYork-Presbyterian, Dr. Nemr worked for New York University Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.
