The firm was founded in the 1940s by Lou Racine. After graduating from law school, he served in the military as a Navy Captain in World War II. After his honorable discharge, he began practicing law in Pocatello, Idaho. Soon, others joined the firm, including a future justice of the Idaho Supreme Court.
