Tomorrow’s success starts with today’s planning
As the summer comes to an end, so does the softball season. Cristin’s daughter Hayden played with the Wisconsin Heat Fast Pitch. Their season included seven tournaments, one of them being the Softball Nationals in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At the fall tournament in Slinger the team went 5-0 and out scored the other teams by a combined score in 5 games of 54-2! The team won:
2 - 1st place trophies
1 - 2nd place trophy
2 - 3rd place trophies
Hayden’s Top Highlights:
Hayden’s first at bat at Nationals was a grand slam and then a triple in another game at Nationals.
Hayden and another pitcher together threw a no-hitter in a tournament in Menasha.
Estate Planning Seminar IN PERSON (or virtual)
On the calendar for this year was an Estate Planning Seminar with guest speaker Attorney Michelle Birschbach from Steimle Birschbach LLC, and we decided NOT to cancel it!
It will be held at Knox’s Silver Valley (was originally scheduled at the library). We will be socially distancing, but masks are optional (as long as the mandate isn’t extended). If you would prefer to ‘take it in’ online, we will be providing a livestream of the presentation.
If you have previously signed up for this seminar, please respond via email which way you choose to participate and we will get details to you. If you have not yet signed up but wish to, let us know your preference as well, in person or online.

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in American women. 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer and 1 in 1,000 men will also develop breast cancer. Early detection is important along with a healthy diet, staying physically active, limit alcohol, and get screened regularly. This year we were blessed to celebrate with Jena as she marked three years being cancer free in April. She feels so blessed to have had the support and love of so many of the R & A family who have reached out or asked how she was doing when in the office. Her cancer was only detected by a mammogram, so please encourage your family/friends to make that necessary appointment.

After work last Friday, the ladies from the office had a ladies night and made wreaths. Cristin found instructions for an awesome wreath that all of us could make, even for those of us who don’t have any crafting skills! Jena opened her house and was an amazing hostess. Today is World Kindness Day. As we reflect back on this year our thoughts go back to May 9, 2020. Raddatz & Associates collaborated with Grow it Forward for an Emergency Food Distribution Drive-Thru Pop-up Food Pantry. Our Raddatz Family of Clients and Friends responded with donations of eggs, milk, butter, produce, meat and cheese. There was assistance with gift cards, financial support, venison, packaging and distributing, transportation, face masks and six pallets of non-perishable food. This kindness was amazing to witness and appreciated by many members of the Lakeshore community.
